1. About the service
Spaarbeurs is a cashback service that gives you money back when you shop with our partners via links on spaarbeurs.nl. The service is free to use. You enter into the agreement with Monsen AS (Norwegian company registration number 931 063 499), Inger Bang Lunds vei 5, 5059 Bergen, Norway.
2. Registration
To use the service you need an account. You must be at least 18 years old. You log in with your email address or with your Google account. You are yourself responsible for keeping your login details secure, and for what happens from your account.
3. How cashback works
- You earn cashback when you click an affiliate link via Spaarbeurs and make a purchase that the online store approves.
- The cashback rate differs between partners and may change without notice. The rate shown at the moment you click through is the rate that applies to that purchase.
- Confirmation of a purchase from the online store can take as long as 90 days.
- Returns, cancellations and purchases you withdraw from earn no cashback. If you exercise your right of withdrawal towards the online store, the associated cashback lapses.
- Cashback is calculated from Spaarbeurs's share of the partner's commission and is shown in euro (EUR).
4. Payout
Earned and approved cashback can be paid out once your balance is at least € 10. The payout runs through a Revolut payment link that you open and fill in yourself, so we never ask for your account number. We send the link to the email address connected to your account.
5. Limitations
- Ad blockers and the blocking of cookies can prevent registration, in which case no cashback is recorded.
- Cashback cannot be guaranteed: it depends on whether the partner approves the purchase.
- Misuse of the service (invented purchases, accounts in another person's name) leads to exclusion and to the withdrawal of cashback that has not yet been paid out.
6. Liability
Spaarbeurs brings you and the online stores into contact. We sell nothing ourselves and are not liable for products, deliveries, complaints or disputes with the online stores: in the purchase, the online store is your counterparty. Cashback amounts shown before a purchase has been confirmed are estimates and may differ from the final payout.
7. Changes
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email or in the service. If you continue to use the service after the change has taken effect, you thereby accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account free of charge.
8. Spaarbeurs for business
Spaarbeurs for business, the subscription for shops and service providers, is not yet offered in the Netherlands. The terms in sections 1 to 7 therefore apply to the service for consumers. If you are an online store that wants to work with us, that goes through the affiliate networks, see for partners. As soon as the business subscription arrives in the Netherlands, separate terms will apply to it, which you accept at registration.
9. Right of withdrawal and complaints
Spaarbeurs is free for you as a consumer: you buy nothing from us, so in relation to us there is also nothing to withdraw from. The right of withdrawal applies to the purchase you make at the online store: for a distance purchase you normally have 14 days to reconsider, counted from the day you received the product. You exercise that right of withdrawal towards the online store, not towards us. If the purchase is withdrawn or returned, the cashback that the purchase produced lapses.
If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled your case, please contact us first at hallo@spaarbeurs.nl. If we cannot resolve it together, you can turn to ACM ConsuWijzer (consuwijzer.nl), the consumer desk of the Autoriteit Consument & Markt, for free information about your rights. Because we are established in Norway, you can also get help from ECC Nederland (eccnederland.nl), which assists you with cross-border purchases within the EU/EEA.
10. Applicable law and disputes
The agreement is entered into with Monsen AS in Norway. Dutch law applies in so far as mandatory Dutch consumer protection rules require it; for the rest, Norwegian law applies. As a consumer resident in the Netherlands, you never lose the protection that follows from mandatory Dutch rules. You can always bring us before the court of the place where you live in the Netherlands, or, if you prefer that, before Bergen tingrett (Bergen District Court), and we can bring you only before a Dutch court. For disputes that do not involve a consumer, Bergen tingrett is the competent court.
